Camp Carden Summer Policies & Enrollment Information

Registration & Payment

Registration for all Camp Carden summer programs must be completed online and paid in full at the time of registration.


To ensure appropriate staffing and program planning, families are strongly encouraged to register by May 1, 2026. Registrations submitted after this date may be placed on a waitlist if a program reaches capacity.


If a program is full, families may join the waitlist. When space becomes available, families will have 48 hours to complete registration and payment before the space is offered to the next camper.

Enrollment

Camp enrollment is first-come, first-served based on the order completed registrations are received.

We are unable to hold spaces without completed registration and full payment.


All programs require a minimum number of participants and may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. If Camp Carden cancels a program, families will be notified promptly and may choose to:


• Transfer to another available program

• Receive a full refund or credit


Camp programs are open to both Carden Conejo students and the broader community, unless otherwise noted.

Schedule Changes & Withdrawals

If your plans change and you need to switch weeks or withdraw from a program, please contact the Camp Office as soon as possible.


We will make every effort to accommodate schedule change requests based on availability; however, changes cannot be guaranteed.


Withdrawal Policy


Because staffing, materials, and programming are planned in advance based on enrollment, Camp Carden does not offer refunds for withdrawals or cancellations.


If notice is provided at least 30 days prior to the start of the registered camp week, a credit may be issued toward another available session, subject to space availability.


No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the camp start date or after the program has begun, including cancellations due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or other personal circumstances.

Camp Communication

Families will receive a detailed camp information packet approximately one week prior to the start of their camp session.


This packet will include:


• Drop-off and pick-up procedures

• What campers should bring and wear

• Weekly activities and special events


Additional updates may be shared throughout the summer with reminders and important announcements.

Camper Behavior

Camp Carden is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all campers.

Campers are expected to:


• Follow camp rules and safety guidelines

• Treat counselors and fellow campers with kindness and respect

• Participate in activities in a cooperative and appropriate manner


Campers who demonstrate unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior may be dismissed from the program at the discretion of camp leadership.


No refunds will be issued in cases of dismissal due to behavior.
